It's great to see how far St Marys has gone with its IT side of things. I started of at St Marys from nursey in 1988 but then left in 1992 due to my parents moving to Edmonton, I was 8 when I left the school.
However I still say its the best primary school I went to because unfortunately my new school did'nt teach us how to play musical instruments, which was a great shame.

Having visited the school on Friday, I thought I'd drop into the website to register my thanks to everyone I met - especially Year six who grilled me with some terrific questions about my role and what we're doing on the Council about making Hornsey a better place to live.

Year six also asked me about a start date for the improvements to the grassy area in front of the school and I promised I would get an answer. A meeting is due to take place this Thursday between the Council and St Mary's representatives to decide upon a start date so let's hope things get moving. I'll stay in touch - so if there are any problems at all, please email me!

I would like to thank the school for the impressive visit arranged for pupils in year 2 and their parents. I would particularly like to thank our escorts from Year 6, Ryan and Agatha, who were very well presented and well mannered and were able to deal with all of our questions and provide us with a considerable amount of information. The school must be very proud to have such dazzling stars amongst it's pupils.

Nice Website

It was the parent/carer, child and teacher meetings yesterday and the whole school was bursting with creativity and information. The displays of work in the corridors and classrooms were excellent, demonstrating cross-curricular depth and vision. Well done to everyone concerned.
